  • Alex Arch

I grew up in Canada, as most would expect, playing hockey. Always willing to give the best of myself, I added mountain biking, firefighting, and now, unexpectedly, writing to the list. Not the best at expressing emotions and ideas in real life, writing helps me channel what happens in my mind. The Stars Within, in particular, allowed me to process the turmoil left after the passing of my mother.

  • Allison Knight

Allison wrote her first romance after she decided she could write a better book than the one she was reading. Today, she spends her time creating heroes and heroines, then delights in making their lives miserable as they fall in love. After all, a romance is all about a happy-ever-after.

  • Alyssa Roberts

This story is important to me in many ways, not the least of which is that some of the scenes came directly from my experience, including the feeling of racing across the waves while a storm blows you, safe in a cocoon crafted on a sailboat, the feeling of loss when a person you deeply care about says they trust someone else’s reaction more than their own, and the feeling of love that is earned after fears are faced.

I grew up in a family that loved to read and loved to tell stories, so my love of storytelling developed early. If my story makes you laugh, so much the better.

I love to write about people facing difficult situations and how they forge paths out of those situations. It’s even more fun when the situations are set in times when fascinating things were happening. I hope you enjoy reading my stories.

  • Andrew John Robinson

A transplanted New Englander, his first novel was “Murder on Gosnold Island”. It combined his engineering background with his love of Martha’s Vineyard. Next came “Lexa and the Gordian Maze of Terra” a children’s science-fiction work. It led to “Lexa and the Smugglers of Cyclo”.

Many of his short stories are on www.grubstreet.ca, and he put thirty of them into: “Martha’s Vineyard: My Island, My Memories”. “Dragonspeak: Drew, the Boy Who Talked to Dragons” is a children’s fantasy. It was a finalist in the 2010 RPLA (Royal Palm Literary Award).

His first produced screenplay was “Wiccans’ Lair”, a supernatural suspense/thriller. While not released, a Rep for 20th Century Fox called it “engrossing and well-made”. He also acted in it and assisted in the production. “Hip Hop High” is a musical set in an urban high school and was featured at the New York City Fringe Fest in 2013. The trailer is on YouTube. He’s also done scripts and treatments for a number of television series.

He was Regional Director of Central Florida for the Florida Writers’ Association, a non-profit group dedicated to helping writers, and was president of Cricket Cottage Publishing, LLC, which he recently sold.

  • Andria Henry

Andria Henry is the author of adult sweet romance and romantic comedy, as well as young adult and middle-grade science fiction and fantasy. She lives with her husband, kids, and furkids in Hamilton, Ontario.

  • Angela Ashton

As a child award-winning author Angela Ashton pulled anyone that would listen into her world of fantasy. Her love of the written language led to the desire to write her own novel. Her first labor of love, Amulet of Fate, combined her love of Scottish historical, time travel, and paranormal romances. Angela continues to write in an array of genres and has received rave reviews for her works. Happy to teeter between two worlds, she lives in the Midwest with her family and personal petting zoo by day…slipping into the enchanted land of tall, dark and handsome by night!

  • Anita Whiting

My name is Anita Whiting. I live near Cleveland, Ohio with my husband and three children.

  • Ann Lory

Ann Lory has been a fan of romance since she started reading her first romance novel at 13. She loves reading and writing romantic/sensual tales and losing herself in characters she’s created who sometimes argue with her about which way the story should go, but in the end their way was best all along.

She is a Missouri native and avid MIZZOU football fan. She's been married to the same wonderful man for fourteen years. They have a son who looks like his father and a daughter who is Ann's "mini-me." Ann also enjoys watching movies and cycling.

  • Anna Swann

Anna Swann has loved books and dogs since she was a child. She pledges that every book she writes will always feature smart, strong female characters, hopeful endings, and dogs who are eternally healthy and happy.

Swann has worked as a journalist, a public relations professional, and a professor, and is now a full-time fiction writer. She has published several short stories about women navigating life’s obstacle course, an academic book on women and media, and numerous journalistic articles on women’s health.

She loves to travel and incorporates some of her favorite real-life places in her fiction writing. She grew up in North Carolina and now lives near Kansas City with her cocker spaniel, Emma.

  • Arabella Stokes

Through some sort of cosmic accident, Arabella Stokes was born to a nice twentieth century middle-class family in the Florida Panhandle rather than to her rightful place as a member of the Regency Haute Ton. While Arabella’s husband keeps a sense of humor about her longings for evenings at Almack’s, her teenage daughters refuse to even consider arranged marriages.

By day, Arabella works as an attorney for a local government agency, but spends her nights dreaming of fox hunts and moonlight strolls along the Serpentine with a titled rogue who closely resembles Colin Firth.

  • Arlene Knowell

Arlene Knowell lives with her husband, Tim, in a small town in North Mississippi. Working full time and managing a home leaves little time for hobbies but she somehow finds time to escape her troubles and responsibilities by writing. She loves to travel and hopes that someday she and her husband can retire and travel extensively. Until then however, the rat race continues, and she’s learned day by day that it isn’t about who finishes the race first, but rather who stops to appreciate the sunsets along the way.
