A transplanted New Englander, his first novel was “Murder on Gosnold Island”. It combined his engineering background with his love of Martha’s Vineyard. Next came “Lexa and the Gordian Maze of Terra” a children’s science-fiction work. It led to “Lexa and the Smugglers of Cyclo”.

Many of his short stories are on www.grubstreet.ca, and he put thirty of them into: “Martha’s Vineyard: My Island, My Memories”. “Dragonspeak: Drew, the Boy Who Talked to Dragons” is a children’s fantasy. It was a finalist in the 2010 RPLA (Royal Palm Literary Award).

His first produced screenplay was “Wiccans’ Lair”, a supernatural suspense/thriller. While not released, a Rep for 20th Century Fox called it “engrossing and well-made”. He also acted in it and assisted in the production. “Hip Hop High” is a musical set in an urban high school and was featured at the New York City Fringe Fest in 2013. The trailer is on YouTube. He’s also done scripts and treatments for a number of television series.

He was Regional Director of Central Florida for the Florida Writers’ Association, a non-profit group dedicated to helping writers, and was president of Cricket Cottage Publishing, LLC, which he recently sold.
