Lee Ann Sontheimer Murphy is a full-time writer, wife, and mom living in what passes for the suburbs in Neosho, a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. She is a member of Missouri Writers Guild and the Ozark Writers League. She is a native of St. Joseph, Missouri where both her pioneer and immigrant ancestors landed. She is active in her current home community of Neosho, Missouri, on the City-County Library Board, on the Neosho Arts Council, St. Canera parish, and other local organizations. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies, in print, and in online publications.
