Ute
began her writing life as a poet and she's had quite a
bit of poetry published, mostly in small press
magazines. She taught
first-draft writing workshops for about twelve
years. Although she no longer doing this, she
loves the community of writers this work created and she

She's
been married to the same guy for a very long time and
they have two grown sons. Ute lives in
Southern New Hampshire.
