    EXCERPT

Wrapped in a large, white, fluffy hotel towel, she sat on the bed and stared at the adjoining door. She couldn’t help wondering what Jess was doing at this exact moment in his room.

Shivers ran down her spine as she thought of him emerging from the bathroom with nothing on. His body would be dry and hot. His hair would be slicked back.

She let her mind run wild; she could see herself walk toward him and run her hands up his chest as she looked up into his serious brown eyes. She imaged reaching up to kiss him. It would be a warm kiss that expressed--expressed what?

Exactly what did she feel for him? She shook her head in frustration. New and strange feelings; feelings she had never experienced before.

Just then a knock shook her adjoining door, jolting her from her thoughts. It couldn't have been an hour already. She frantically searched her room for a clock or her watch. She fumbled on the night stand picking up her watch. It hadn't been an hour. Only forty-five minutes. What was he doing knocking at her door now?

She climbed off the bed and moved toward the door. “Yes?”

He knocked again. The door must be too thick for him to hear her. She clicked the lock and opened it.

Good Lord. He wasn't dressed. He was just how she imagined, except for a towel casually wrapped around his lean waist. Her breath caught. He was gorgeous, beyond that. More like a Greek God.
