  • Karen Naylor

Based in a small town in West Yorkshire, England, Karen Naylor writes romance with heart. She hopes to make her readers laugh along with her characters' highs and lows, empathize with the heroine, fall a little in love with the hero and savor the happy ever after.

Karen enjoyed writing Christmas Evie as she got to draw humor from her own experiences, her Italian ancestry, and her love of Christmas (born in early December, she couldn’t wait for it even then despite her due date of Christmas day).

Capri is her favorite place in the world and she can’t wait to visit again soon.

For many years she’s run a free Writers Group at her local library and writing workshops at a community tea room. In 2015 she set up and ran the Cleckheaton Literature Festival to help save the local library service and raise literacy levels of children in the area.

This is her first published book and she would like to connect with any fans of the novel on her social media platforms.

  • Kat Canfield

Horses have been a part of Kat Canfield’s life since childhood. She has been riding and competing in the Dressage ring for more years than she wants to admit. Now competing in the upper levels, she would be the first to tell you it is a long journey.

To help pay for her horse obsession, she worked as a police officer in South Florida and retired several years ago. And as expected, she rode on the Mounted Patrol. She plans to include some of those heartwarming experiences of working with a horse partner in upcoming novels.

Kat lives in the heart of the winter equestrian world, Wellington, Florida with her husband, horses, and cats. If you ever visit, you may see her go down centerline at a local horse show.

  • Katie Eagan Schenck

Katie Eagan Schenck has loved writing since she was a child, but she first got the idea of writing professionally after submitting a book report in the second grade to rave reviews. It was there that the idea of growing up to be a princess or marine biologist gave way to the lifelong dream of being an author.

Katie put that dream aside for a while after losing her mother to cancer. Instead, she pursued a career in public service at the state and federal levels. But she never fully gave up on her dream of writing. She enrolled in an MFA program for fiction writing and will graduate in the summer of 2022.

Having been a single mom herself at one point, Katie holds a special place in her heart for Shelly’s struggles parenting Lilly on her own. However, Katie found her happily ever after with her husband, daughter, and their three cats in a town just outside of Annapolis, Maryland. She is currently working on two other novels that also take place in fictional small towns in Maryland and hopes to have a long career in writing sweet romance.

  • Katie Karambelas

Katie Karambelas is a Southern girl who has a deep love of traveling and reading and writing. Teen angst is her soft spot, as are the kind of boys that are only in books. Except for her husband – he’s the real deal.

There are few things she loves more than Eastern North Carolina barbecue, tootsie rolls, and an oversized glass of prosecco. Her writing often features a place or person that touched her during her travels. She blogs about motherhood and travel at www.thejetsettingmama.com. When she’s not gallivanting across the globe, she’s hanging out with her husband, children, and dog.

  • Katy Berritt

I just retired from a long career in the financial industry, a field not known for its sense of humor, which probably explains why I like to write romantic comedy about not-so-perfect heroes, quirky heroines and bizarre relatives. Also a field that doesn’t allow outside business interests. Retiring gave me the chance, at last, to fulfill my dream of getting published.

I’ve always believed a good book is one of the great joys in life. When I sit down at my computer to write, and wrack my brain for that next line, that next plot device, that next story that I believe must be told, I’m hoping you laugh along with me, cry along with me, or even feel a little shudder of fear along with me. And when you reach the last page, I hope you are sorry to say goodbye to my hero and heroine, even as you have rooted for their happy ending.

I have one daughter, Beret, and two grandchildren, Rory and Hunter. I've named my most recent heroine Rory in my granddaughter’s honor. They’re four and two, and wonderful pains in the butt.

I hope you enjoy this book and many more to come.

  • Keith W. Willis

Keith W. Willis graduated (long ago) with a degree in English Lit from Berry College, which has the distinction of being the world's largest college campus. He now lives in the scenic Hudson Valley/Adirondack region of NY with his wife Patty. Keith is certain those rumbling noises attributed to Henry Hudson's crew are really just the dragons grumbling. Keith and Patty have one grown son, Matt, who actually thinks it's pretty cool that Dad wrote a book. Keith's interests include reading classic mysteries, fantasy and sci-fi; camping and canoeing; and cutthroat games of Scrabble. He began writing seriously in 2008, when the voices in his head got too annoying to ignore. When he's not making up stories he manages a group of database content editors at a global information technology firm.
TRAITOR KNIGHT, his first published novel, has won awards for both fantasy and romance. DESPERATE KNIGHT was released in August 2017, and the third book in the series, ENCHANTED KNIGHT, is tentatively scheduled for a fall 2019 release. SFF World calls the Knights of Kilbourne series " a witty and action-packed page-turner that takes the classic fantasy land and adds depth, character, romance and political intrigue to brilliant effect."

  • Kevin Henry

From an early age, Kevin B. Henry was a voracious reader. His collection of science fiction, fantasy and mystery books bring tears of envy to the eyes of many small community libraries.

Kevin has worked as an educator, technology specialist and day laborer most of his adult life. During all that time he was a frustrated author. That it took 30 years for him to piece together Amber Gifts is a testament that the best meals need slow cooking to bring out the flavor.

He lives in the southeast without human or domesticated mammal companionship.

  • Kiersten Marcil

Kiersten hails from New England. Growing up, the Battlefields of Saratoga were her backyard, tourist sites like Fort Ticonderoga were an easy day trip, and Kiersten couldn’t have cared less back then. It wasn’t until journeying into adulthood that she grew to love books, and even then, not until she became a museum educator that she discovered the fascinating world of history.

A walking contradiction, she has a fondness for coffee by day, tea after dinner; doesn’t watch television often, but late-night comedians on their YouTube channels every evening; adores cats but not their claws, the idea of dogs unless it comes to owning one; and hates the outdoors unless it involves Revolutionary War sites or kayaking.

Kiersten currently lives in Upstate New York with her family: The Husband, Useful Son, and Subsequent Son, as they are affectionately known on social media, along with her two furry children, her co-author, and research assistant.

  • Kim Leady

Kim Leady, award-winning author, lives outside of Nashville, Tennessee with her husband of 22 years and their two sons.  She not only writes novels, but she is also a correspondent, columnist and playwright.  Kim often jokes that her best material comes from living in a house full of males. She has used this ‘knowledge’ wisely creating male characters that jump from the pages and into her reader’s hearts.

Her gift for telling a story will stay with you long after you’ve turn the last page.Kim enjoys spending time with her family camping, hiking and traveling.

  • L. A. Myles

L.A. is an American fantasy fiction writer. For her stories always come first as an image. Usually, it’s a single clear snapshot of a pivotal moment for the main character. After that, it’s like a portal has opened and L.A. is the conduit the story flows through, as opposed to the conductor of the tale. It’s fun and often makes writing as exciting as reading.

High fantasy is where the majority of L.A.’s novels live. Characters going through proverbial hell as they come into their personal power resonate the most for her and tend to be what she writes.

After decades of migrating from one US coast to another and then abroad, L.A. has settled in the Pacific Northwest with a couple of high-powered kids, a husband, two cats, chickens, and a flock of wild turkeys that have decided to make the family’s property theirs.
