Seditious Hearts

With the destruction of their main medical facility, the Daynavian Resistance orders operative Lonan Tremayne to commandeer the Imperium medical frigate, IMF Intervention and seduce the chief medical officer to come along. Rumor has Sub-Commander Seppala Amundsen disenchanted with her Imperium bosses and ready to defect. One problem. She’s Antithian; her people enslaved Daynavians for generations. Lonan’s squad would rather kill her than turn her, just on general principle—orders be damned. 

Trauma surgeon Seppala Amundsen has had a bellyful of war, completely fed up with the autocratic Imperium that betrayed her. A friend tricks Seppala into spending her three-day leave at Harmonies, a notorious Bregorian pleasure palace. She’s way out of her league. Meeting Lonan Tremayne should have been the highlight of her stay, but he’s not Imperium. Is he interested or using her for some other purpose? 

It only takes one “accident” for Lonan to suspect someone wants Seppala dead. But why? Now he not only has to turn her, but keep her alive long enough to do so. But is it a professional assassin…or one of Lonan’s own?
