Kidnapped

Brice Lowell has always regretted the mistakes of his youth, especially the one he made with Natalie. Though he tried to replace her with other women, he never stopped wanting her. Excerpt: 

“Are you kidding me?” she asked. “Is this really what you want to discuss?”

“Are you shy?” Brice taunted. “I can go first. I’ve never made love in a snowstorm, indoors or out. Now you.”

A blush stole over Natalie’s cheeks. “Brice, how about talking about our favorite food?”

“Do I get to eat my favorite food off your body?”

She threw her hands in the air. “Why are you doing this to me? You’re hurt and can’t move, and now you want to talk sex?”

He nodded with a maddening smile.

She wanted to get up off the couch and walk off some of the tension building in her body, but at the same time, he had her mesmerized and frozen to the spot. A thrilling tremor sizzled through her body at the images he’d created in her mind. She wanted to protect her heart--wanted to play the prude--but her curiosity got the best of her.

“You’ve never had sex in a snowstorm,” she said. “Not even in a hot tub with the women you were talking about?”

“So you admit you are curious?”

“No, I’m just making conversation. And no, I’ve never made love in a snowstorm.”
